Autobody Armor Car Cover Installation & Cleaning

Installation:

In the first step, you are required to place the Autobody Armor Car Cover over the center of the vehicle and open it.

In the second place, you are instructed that if the Autobody Armor Car Cover is outfitted with mirror pockets, it is essential for you to cover the mirror pockets before you proceed on to cover the bumper ends with the remaining portion of the cover. This specific way of covering the mirror pockets first would be especially helpful for you to install the car cover in specific windy conditions.

Cleaning:

Machine Cleaning

Autobody Armor Car Covers can be easily cleaned by the use of large-sized automatic speed control washers ( M/Cs). However, agitators are not recommended to be used in the cleaning process as the use of agitators might yield adverse effects by tearing off the products.

You are altogether not instructed to use small M/Cs for cleaning purposes as in small M/Cs, the space meant for washing is small and as such it is not likely to provide smooth fabric movement.

Hand Washing:

Hand washing is also a proper procedure of cleaning Autobody Armor Car Covers that you can apply if the cover is not dirty to a higher degree. Hand washing is done slowly and gradually by washing the Autobody Armor Car Cover with your hands.

Another Washing Procedure

You can also place the internal side of the Autobody Armor Car Cover out on your car and clean it by spraying water with the help of a hose. However, this cleaning procedure is particularly applicable if there is no external antenna.

Important Cleaning Instructions:

For the purpose of washing your Autobody Armor Car Covers, you can use a suitable non-toxic, non-caustic, bio-degradable and environment friendly anionic laundry detergent. Two cups of this liquid cleaner is mixed with cold or warm water and thereafter the cover is soaked for 5 minutes in order to loosen the dirt particles embedded in it. After that, you are required to wash the cover for five minutes with gently cycles. For proper cleaning, initiate a two cycle rinsing of the cover with cold water and thereafter you are again required to rinse the cover one cycle on order to make it half dry. As drying is completed for half of the cover, you can put the half-dried cover on the vehicle and wait for it to dry completely by the affect of air.

This washing process is to be undertaken at 20-27 degree centigrade and in this procedure; the cover washing is completed in two rinse cycles. Also, in this process, don’t use any automatic dryer and do not also attempt to dry clean your Autobody Armor Car Cover.
